MatMult is a simple project I built to get experience with performance optimization and to better understand matrix multiplcation algorithms. For the results, see this blog post.
This is a normal sbt project. You can compile code with sbt compile and run
the tests with sbt test.
This project uses the JMH (Java Microbenchmarking Harness). To run the benchmarks for yourself:
Uncomment the benchmarks you want to run in
src/main/scala/com/lukewassink/benchmark/Benchmarks.scala. Edit the
annotations if you want to change the JMH settings. For example, you can change
the number of iterations to benchmark. You can also change the parameters for
the multiplication algorithms by un-commenting and editing the @Params blocks.
In the terminal, enter sbt, then enter Jmh/run.
