https://every-door.app is my favorite for light-weight POI editing. You can blast through an entire shopping mall very quickly

Great app. There is also https://every-door.app/ that gives you slightly different set of tasks and allows you to place POI easily. I recently mapped a lot of trash cans and benches around my neighborhood while walking with my dog.

If you just want to add POI data, then Every Door is a good choice that also works on iOS CoMaps would be a good map app, and it will also display when POIs and opening hours were last confirmed (the only OSM app to do so AFAIK) https://every-door.app https://www.comaps.app
