Air

Air is a free and easy-to-use secure messaging app.

• Send end-to-end encrypted texts, photos, videos, and documents.
• Create group chats with friends and family. Feel free to bring your coworkers too.
• Air doesn’t collect sensitive information like your phone number or email address, and doesn’t retain metadata, like who you talk to and when.
• Air is open-source, and is based on the Messaging Layer Security (MLS) protocol and other open standards.
• Air is designed, built, and hosted in the European Union (EU).
• Air is not backed by investors or advertisers.

Air is regularly updated with new features and improvements.

It’s still early days. Air is built on a solid foundation. Its underlying security protocol implementation recently undergone an independent security audit. However, the app is still evolving. It is not yet full-featured and not all advanced security measures have been implemented.

Install

Air is currently invite-only. To sign up on Air you need an invite code from an existing Air user.

The Air app is available for both Android and iOS, with desktop support coming soon. You can find links to the Google Play and Apple AppStore here: https://air.ms/install
