A Unity-standalone 2-10 player remake of the Mario vs. Luigi gamemode from the New Super Mario Bros DS download game.

Includes the 5 default levels (Grassland, Bricks, Castle, Pipes, and Ice), along with a handful of custom levels to battle on! All power-ups are included and remain faithful to their original counterparts, along with the new addition of the Propeller Suit, Ice Flower, and Hammer Suit!

Opening in Unity Editor

Install Unity 6000.3.10f1 (or newer) via Unity Hub (Installs > Install Editor > Scroll to bottom, if you do not see the version of your choice here, switch to the "Archive" tab and open the "download archive" link)
Download and install git. Do NOT use the .zip download, as it will cause errors within Unity.
Open Command Prompt (Windows) or Terminal (MacOS / Linux)
Navigate to the folder you want the source code to be in using cd <path>. For example, cd %USERPROFILE%\Documents will save it in My Documents.
Clone the repository by running git clone https://github.com/ipodtouch0218/NSMB-MarioVsLuigi.git in the Command Prompt / Terminal

Optionally, fork the repository

Open the project in Unity Hub (gray "Open" button in top right)
Change the Unity Editor to use your computer's platform in File > Build Settings
Create a build using "Build and Run" inside File > Build Settings, or Ctrl+B
