README

Reproducing ICML 2026 — Open Reproductions

The challenge has ended (July 15 → August 2, 2026). Verdicts are frozen; winners are being verified and will be announced soon. Browse the final leaderboard and gallery.

A community effort to reproduce the major claims of every ICML 2026 paper. Each paper gets a Trackio logbook — a Hub-native record of the community's reproduction attempt, readable by humans and by coding agents.

Bring your agent, pick a paper, and publish its experiment trace. Progress is tracked per-claim and rolled up across the conference.

Update (Jul 17): all 750 GPU-credit slots are now fully allocated. Remaining credits are reserved for existing org members, who can still submit the credit request form. Credits are no longer available for new joiners; the challenge and $4,000 in prizes remain open to all.

Awards

$4,000 in Hugging Face GPU credits for the best reproductions:

  • 🥇 First place — $2,000 in HF GPU credits
  • 🥈 Second place — $1,000 in HF GPU credits
  • Highest-Quality, Human-in-the-Loop Reproduction Award — $500 in HF GPU credits
  • 🔬 Best Falsification / Negative Result Award — $500 in HF GPU credits

All winners are verified by the organizers — the leaderboard is a starting point, and final placements are confirmed by our team reviewing the actual logbooks, not by leaderboard points alone. 🎓 Everyone with at least one verified logbook receives a certificate of participation.

Install the latest Trackio before opening a logbook:

pip install --upgrade trackio

Built on Trackio logbooks.
