Traditional SEO signals (clean HTML, structured data, crawlable sitemaps, valid meta) are the same signals AI crawlers use to decide what to cite. Nuxt SEO also includes nuxt-ai-ready for llms.txt and on-demand Markdown endpoints. MCP tools require a separate opt-in.

The @nuxtjs/seo Module

The @nuxtjs/seo package installs all nine modules in one step. It also checks module versions at build time, and runs setup checks in development.

Every module works standalone. Install @nuxtjs/seo to get everything at once, or pick only what you need. The bundle sets Skew Protection to polling and disables its version cookie. AI Ready keeps its own defaults. Your module configuration takes precedence.

[!NOTE] Site Config installs automatically with any SEO module. It provides a unified configuration layer that works across all modules at both build time and runtime.

Installation

Install everything at once:

Nuxt SEO v6 requires Nuxt 4.6.1 or later, and Node ^22.22.3 || ^24.15.0 || >=26.0.0. Nuxt 3 sites stay on Nuxt SEO v5. See the v5 to v6 migration guide.
