Geraniums Pot - Intersecting Circles Puzzles Simulator

This is a simulator of the famous "Geranium" puzzles. I added 610 different puzzles.

Download Geraniums Pot

Only a mini version of the installer is available here (due to file size limitations), you need to unpack the folder from the Photo-zip archive into the program directory yourself. Or you can download the full version of the installer using the green button from the Sourceforge website. The special version compiled for Linux is in section 1-9-1. But you can run the new win-version of the program under Linux using Wine. You can see screenshots of all the puzzles in the Galery-zip archive.

You can create a text file with a script that describes the location of circles. I have created files for all real intersecting circles puzzles, you can download them from the "Garden" folder.

You can download the Gallery.zip file to see all the screenshots of all the puzzles.

How to play

Mouse

  • Mouse click (Left/Right button) - rotate circles clockwise or counterclockwise
  • Mouse Wheel - rotation of the circles clockwise or counterclockwise
  • Mouse click (second button) - go back one step

Keyboard hot-key

  • Space - back one step
  • F1 - opens a small hint window showing the initial state of the puzzle.
  • F2 - reset the puzzle to its initial state.
  • F3 - opening a file with a new circles-puzzle (also Ctrl+O)
  • F4 - automatic scramble puzzle
  • F5 - opens a small window showing the photo with real puzzle.
  • F6 - toggle markers
  • F7 - make screenshot and copy to clipboard
  • F8 - automatic super-scramble
  • F9 - save to file puzzle state and moves stack
  • F11 - previous puzzle
  • F12 - next puzzle

Programm button

  • Reset - reset the puzzle to its initial state.
  • Scramble - automatic scramble puzzle
  • Undo - back one step
  • Open - opening a file with a new ring-puzzle
  • Solved State - opens a small hint window showing the initial state of the puzzle.
  • Photo - opens a small window showing the photo with real puzzle.
  • Info - opens a link in the browser to photos and a description of the original puzzle.

The program supports various types of puzzles

you can see a photo of the real puzzle or open a website with a description.

you can color any part in the color you want

you can make puzzles with different angles

you can delete unnecessary parts

you can manually set the splitting procedure

you can make more complex puzzles with text markers

you can make puzzles with nested circles

you can make puzzles with very deep intersecting circles

you can make a puzzle where only the outer part of the circle rotates

you can make puzzles with a huge number of pieces

you can do as many circles as you like

you can create a puzzle of any complexity

you can meet the craziest puzzles - are no limits here
