A prompt injection and jailbreak detection system for LLMs

PromptScreen is an open-source library that provides multiple defence layers against prompt injection attacks and jailbreak attempts in LLM applications. Designed for production use, it offers plug-and-play guards that can be integrated into any LLM pipeline.

vectordb ships bring-your-own-data. The CLI's vectordb guard creates an empty Chroma collection by default — out of the box it has nothing to compare against and will never block anything. Populate it yourself with VectorDB.add_texts(texts, metadatas) (see VectorDB in promptscreen.defence) before relying on it.

Hardening the API server

create_app() is unauthenticated with no CORS policy by default -- fine for local/dev use, not for exposing beyond localhost. Pass these to lock it down:
