Audio Privacy Studio automatically transcribes standalone audio or video files, detects sensitive PII words (names, phone numbers, tax codes, addresses), displays an interactive review panel with Simone Rizzo PII color badges, allows users to add/remove words with automatic timestamp alignment, and applies selective audio censorship (BEEP tone or MUTE) using FFmpeg on CPU.

  • Always-open full transcript editor with Simone Rizzo PII color-coded entity badges (PERSONA, LUOGO, ORGANIZZAZIONE, EMAIL, TELEFONO, CODICE_FISCALE, IBAN, DATA).
  • Click any word in the transcript to toggle redaction instantly.
  • Global multi-word selection toggle: choose to sync across all occurrences or select single specific instances.
  • Simplified custom word addition without entering timestamps.
• Selective Audio Redaction:
  • 🔇 SILENCE (Mute) (Default): Mutes target words completely.
  • 🔔 1000Hz BEEP Tone: Replaces target word audio with a 1000Hz sine tone.

Installation

Supported installers: Linux x86-64, macOS Apple Silicon, and Windows x86-64. The first installation downloads and verifies about 6.6 GB of local CPU models; afterward inference runs offline.

On Linux or macOS, extract the matching release archive and run:

./install.sh
./start.sh

On Windows, extract the Windows archive and run in PowerShell:

  • Trascrizione completa aperta di default con badge colorati per tipo di entità (PERSONA, LUOGO, ORGANIZZAZIONE, EMAIL, TELEFONO, CODICE FISCALE, IBAN, DATA).
  • Fai clic su qualsiasi parola per censurarla o ripristinarla.
  • Selettore per applicare la censura a tutte le occorrenze della parola o alla singola istanza.
  • Aggiunta guidata di nuove parole senza necessità di inserire manualmente i secondi.
• Oscuramento Audio Selettivo:
  • 🔇 SILENZIO (Mute) (Consigliato / Default): Azzera il volume durante le parole censurate.
  • 🔔 Tono BEEP a 1000Hz: Sostituisce la voce sensibile con un segnale sinusoidale a 1000Hz.

Installazione

Gli installer supportano Linux x86-64, macOS Apple Silicon e Windows x86-64. La prima installazione scarica e verifica circa 6,6 GB di modelli CPU locali; in seguito l'elaborazione funziona offline.

Su Linux o macOS, estrai l'archivio corretto ed esegui:

./install.sh
./start.sh

Su Windows, estrai l'archivio Windows ed esegui in PowerShell:
