PulsePing

PulsePing is a Discord bot designed to bridge the gap between TradingView and your Discord community. It securely listens to TradingView webhooks and instantly formats them into rich, customizable Discord embed alerts. PulsePing also includes built-in crypto subscription mechanics, allowing server owners to monetize their TradingView signals using Solana.

Features

  • TradingView Webhooks: Receive TradingView alerts in real-time.
  • Customizable Alerts: Users can run /build-alert to customize the colors and appearance of Buy and Sell signals for their specific channels.
  • Crypto Subscriptions: Monetize access to your bot. PulsePing tracks and verifies on-chain Solana transaction hashes so users can purchase server subscriptions.
  • Slash Commands: Intuitive commands for server owners and members (/setup, /subscribe, /build-alert, /stats).
  • Signal History Tracking: Built-in PostgreSQL database for tracking the outcomes of signals (Win/Loss/Open).

Tech Stack

  • Node.js & TypeScript
  • Discord.js (v14) for bot interactions
  • Express.js for receiving webhooks
  • Prisma ORM & PostgreSQL for database management
  • Zod for schema validation

Prerequisites

  • Node.js (v18+)
  • PostgreSQL Database
  • Discord Bot Token & Client ID (from Discord Developer Portal)
  • Solana Wallet (for receiving subscription payments)

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone <repository-url>
    cd pulseping

  2. Install dependencies:

    DATABASE_URL="postgresql://user:password@localhost:5432/pulseping"
    SOLANA_WALLET_ADDRESS="your_solana_wallet_address"

  4. Database Setup: Run Prisma migrations to set up your database schema.

    npx prisma migrate dev --name init
    npx prisma generate

  5. Build and Run: For development:

    npm run dev

    For production:
