• Lead a full-stack team of six developers in developing and supporting a legacy application, upgrading dependencies and packages to increase stability and build speed.

• Utilizing Claude Code to build two new backend services to track backroom shelf capacity enterprise wide, with custom skills, sub-agents, and routines.

• Working with other tech-leads throughout the company to build a best practices template and clone-able repository to support the launch of new back and front-end applications.

• Concurrently re-writing a front-end application to be mobile reactive, and writing a new mobile-native application to support business needs.

• Sunsetted a legacy BFF(back-end-for-front-end), decreasing average largest contentful paint times by about 50%.

• Working on a full-stack team handling millions of events a week as a Software Engineer utilizing TypeScript with React and Redux in the front-end, and Node.js hosted on Azure in the back-end.

• Lead design discussions for integrating our application with organization-wide initiatives, taking ownership of our responsibilities, and being the feature-lead for cross-team work.

• Set up our Sonar environment and code editor integration to track code smells, bugs, and untested code. This significantly increased our code quality and led to unit test coverage up to 90%.

• Reviewed and updated our API calls to call in parallel, and modified the build and deployment process, bringing 99th percentile page load times from 15s to under 10s and lowering build size by approximately 40%.

Full-Stack Developer | March 2021 – Current | Credit Suisse, Raleigh, North Carolina.

• Worked as a full- stack developer utilizing JavaScript and React in the front-end and Java with Spring in the back-end.

• Had ownership of complex form engine, spearheading design discussions and identifying bug fixes.

• Implemented design patterns to allow for translation of the web application per user’s selected language using the i18next framework.

• Reusable components were created and optimized to streamline the front-end environment and reduce technical debt, making use of React hooks, unit testing, and code reviews.

Software Engineer | September 2019 – February 2021 | Cyient Inc., Melbourne, Florida.

• Created a Java program to automate the tracking of our overall progress on tasks and identify simple errors in our scripts, saving the lead engineer approximately 2 hours a week spent on team coordination.

• Responsibilities included verifying requirements, writing test cases, and developing test scripts in Java to validate simulated hardware and software throughout the SDLC.
